Refer to "Adding a New User" or "Updating a User".

Micronet displays the User File Update screen - Main tab.

  1. Select a type of search the user can perform.

Micronet displays a screen for that search type. This screen shows the Item Partial Searches screen.

  1. In the Update Searches field, select Yes if you want Micronet to display the partial key search screen with the last selected sort order the next time the screen is displayed, or select No if you always want the partial key search screen displayed with the default sort order.
  1. The bottom of the screen shows a list of indexes that apply to the selected search type. Select the primary index for this user - that is, the default order in which lists of this search type are displayed - then select the Ok button.

For example, if you selected GL All Search in step 4, Micronet displays the following indexes:

You select one of these options as the default sort order for GL accounts so that, for this user, GL accounts are always displayed in that sequence.

Micronet redisplays the User File Update screen.

  1. Repeat this procedure for other searches the user can perform.
